Subsistence
We understand the word subsistence to mean our customary and traditional ways of harvesting and sharing food. In this category we have gathered stories that encompass our rich cultural practices of fishing, hunting, foraging, and preserving our foods. Likewise, the teaching of these skills as well as sharing of our resources amongst our friends, families and communities are central to ensuring our ways of life continue.
